Barry Gregory, Chairman of Harrogate based Gregory Property Group, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tracy into the business where she will manage all financial aspects of the Group. Her experience with family owned SME enterprise means that she has a hands-on approach and will fit into the team perfectly.

"We are of course sad to see Marjorie leave the business as she has been a much loved and loyal member of the team for 20 years. Her continued commitment and hard work has contributed greatly to the success of our business. We shall miss her greatly but wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement."

Tracy Sormus added: "I am delighted to join Gregory Property Group which is well known for its contribution to the built environment across Yorkshire. I am looking forward to managing the financial performance of the business but also getting involved with operational aspects such as system and procedural upgrades."
