DKV Euroservice has appointed NTBS & NCA as its new partner for UK and Ireland.
The responsibility for DKV ASSIST services in this region has now been transferred to Service 24. Emergencies in UK and Ireland are directly supported by the national subcontractor Nationwide Transport Breakdown Services (NTBS) used by Service 24.
Neil White, Sales Team Manager UK & Ireland, explained: "In 2019 we were faced with the challenge to find a new Emergency service centre for GB & IE due to the possible impacts caused by the Brexit. We addressed this request to our existing emergency service partners and our longest established emergency service partner 'Service 24' recommended us to have a combined solution together with NTBS. Due to the Brexit issue, emergency services in the UK and Ireland must directly be supported by a national subcontractor – in our case by NTBS used by Service 24."
NTBS Ltd, was founded in 1987 by Spencer Brown to offer a professional service to the Transport Refrigeration industry and is now a well-established company offering a complete 'one stop shop' breakdown and support service to the commercial vehicle industry. NTBS is still owned and managed by the 2nd and 3rd generation of the Brown family.
Be it emergency breakdown services, towing, tyre service for trucks or even a faulty car: DKV ASSIST provides customers with immediate help 24 hours a day in 41 European countries. In 92% of all cases, they can resolve breakdowns on the spot.
Stuart Brown, Managing Director of NTBS said: "We strongly believe in and apply a 'hands on' style of management, which enables a consistent delivery of a quality service 24 hours a day with effective communications to operators when in trouble, assisting them to protect their reputations and commitments."
NTBS offers complete coverage and full commercial vehicle services and expert call management services. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, NTBS knows how important and vital it is to have customer calls managed and jobs directed professionally. NTBS provides tailored solutions to suit your business needs. They customized the DKV procedures around the company and its customers.
Operating from their own call centre in Denton, Manchester, which is manned by helpful and knowledgeable staff who are available 24 hours a day 365 days of the year, NTBS can provide support to any type, model or age of vehicles, plus all ancillary equipment.
Speaking direct with a UK-office eliminates the possibility of any language issues and ensures the correct agents are used in a breakdown situation.
For many years now, both DKV and NTBS have been in partnership with the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT). The services of both companies sync perfectly with the demands of the CPT membership, be it fuel at home or abroad, road tolls, or foreign VAT refunds. CPT members also benefit from greater piece of mind, knowing that between them, DKV and NTBS will ensure they get to where they need to go, and get home again.
To be recognised as the breakdown assistance provider for CPT (Confederation of passenger Transport) members demonstrates that NTBS & NCA provide a reliable service.
Stuart Brown, Managing Director of NTBS commented: "Knowledge of the industry is a key factor in the considerable success of the company, coupled with access to an extensive network of approved agents who provide coverage throughout the UK and Europe, and it is our agents who determine our reputation. Therefore we only use those who respond quickly and produce quality workmanship. They are all experts in their field and approved by NTBS Ltd. With an extensive network of specialist agents, including main dealers and independents, we are well placed to provide an efficient response to any situation anywhere and anytime delivering an unrivalled level of service you would expect when in need of a urgent roadside assistance, and at competitive rates. Reciprocal business opportunities play a major part in our support package, where we are able to provide suppliers access to our extensive network."
