Mace has been recognised for its commitment to equality in the workplace with a place on a prestigious index.
The firm has debuted on Stonewall's UK Workplace Equality Index (WEI), ranking 143rd out of 503 companies.
The WEI measures equality in participating organisations across 10 areas of employment policy and practice, combining reported data with anonymous employee surveys about their experience of diversity and inclusion at work.
Mace entered the index to assess its commitment to LGBT+ workplace equality and support its wider Diversity and Inclusion Strategy with the aim of ensuring that everyone who works for Mace feels they can be themselves in the workplace.
Commenting on the achievement, Stephen Jeffery, Chief Technical Officer and board sponsor of the Pride at Mace Group, said: "This year marks our first entry to the WEI, and so I'm very proud that we've already broken into the top 150. We take our responsibility to create an inclusive work environment for all of our LGBT+ employees very seriously, and we look forward to working with Stonewall, Pride at Mace and all of our people to continue to improve diversity and inclusion across the business."
Jessica Williams, Chair of Pride at Mace, added: "I am thrilled with our ranking and it reflects the huge progress we've made at Mace over the past two years. I am so proud of everyone that has worked incredibly hard to drive forward the LGBT+ agenda in the business. It shows that Mace understands the importance of creating an environment where everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential."
