Interserve Group has been selected as a framework contractor by Carmarthenshire County Council in association with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and Swansea Council on its new £1bn South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework.

Lead and managed by Carmarthenshire County Council, the four-year framework can be used by organisations in the public and private sector throughout Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Powys and Swansea.


The framework will support capital development and infrastructure across the South West Wales Region until 2024. Projects included in the framework include commercial, housing and public buildings with ten lots are split by location and value covering projects valued up to £15m and above.

Interserve has been appointed to five lots including those projects valued at more than £15m.

Carl Read, Divisional Director at Interserve Construction, said: "Interserve has been active participants of the SWWRCF since its initial inception back in 2011 and have carried out numerous projects through the framework for the majority of the participating local authorities.

"We are looking forward to working in collaboration with Carmarthen County Council - the framework managers, and the other associated local authorities throughout South West Wales to deliver their capital projects aligned with Interserve Construction's strategy for expanding its Framework portfolio."
