The very best within the UK's plant, tool, equipment and event hire industry have been shortlisted for this year's Hire Awards of Excellence.
Organised by Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA), the 2020 awards will be hosted by stand-up comedian and writer Jo Caulfield at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 04 April.
Leading UK firm Gap Hire Solutions will be competing in three separate categories on the night: SafeHire Plant, Tool and Equipment Hire Company of the Year (Turnover Over £10m), Hire Industry Product of the Year and Catalogue of the Year.
GAP's AutoHybrid ZERO Welfare Unit, which the hire company developed in close partnership with supplier AJC EasyCabin, is in the running to be named Hire Industry Product of the Year. This product is a strong welfare alternative for any company that is looking to reduce their environmental footprint and ensure that their site welfare is compliant and ready for the demands of future CO2 reduction targets.
On receiving the nominations, Iain Anderson, Joint Managing Director of GAP, commented: "After a huge year in 2019 celebrating GAP's golden anniversary, being nominated for these three awards is a wonderful way to round off our 50th celebrations.
"We are extremely proud of the company and what we have achieved within our 50 years so far and we are really excited to have all our hard work acknowledged in this way.
"I am very much looking forward to attending the awards night and I would like to wish the other nominees all the best in their categories as well."
