For the past 10 years Chemique Adhesives has been working with RS-linija, a partner and leading distributor located in Lithuania. RS-linija offers to its Baltic market non-woven textiles, packaging and adhesive solutions for a variety of applications.
RS-linija moved to larger premises in November 2019, highlighting their continuing growth, as well as allowing for increased levels of stock and offering the best availability possible.
Due to the strong presence of furniture manufacturers in Lithuania, the main focus for RS-linija has been on Chemique's range of water-based adhesives that are solvent and VOC free. They also have high initial tack and high final cohesion as well as being repositionable and dry to a flexible glue line.
Clive Robson, International Sales Manager of Chemique Adhesives commented: "During the last ten years we have built a strong relationship with RS-linija and in 2018 we invited them to our new technical facility to conduct some product training where they were able to learn more about our adhesive range and the testing involved. Offering them the right tools and knowledge also provides confidence and reassurance in our product and that’s always an added advantage when visiting potential customers."
The training also provided valuable information relating to Chemique's adhesive application systems and improving the production process. This has allowed RS-linija to successfully conduct on-site trials using both the adhesive and demonstration equipment with the added advantage of avoiding any disruption to production time.
