Plans to develop 130 new homes in Hutton, Weston-super-Mare, have been approved.

Foxglove Meadows is the second scheme Lovell Homes has secured in Weston-super-Mare as part of its plans to expand into the South West.

Construction work will commence on this £32 million development in September, with the first homes expected to be available in early 2021.


The development, which is located on land adjacent to Woodside Avenue, will provide a mix of 81 properties for open market sale through Lovell Homes and 49 affordable units, which will be available through Radian Housing Association.

James Duffett, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “We're delighted to have received planning consent to deliver a total of 130 units, which will work towards tackling the demand for new homes in the South West.

"We're extremely proud at the success of our expansion plans within Weston-super-Mare and across the South West, with Foxglove Meadows playing an integral part in our growth, whilst reducing the shortage of homes across the region."
