GRAHAM FM Starts On £270,000 Design And Installation Programme
GRAHAM Facilities Management (FM) has started work on a major £270,000 design and installation programme at Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare.
Services included upgrading the fire alarm, intruder alarm, and emergency lighting systems at the comprehensive school, which caters for pupils aged 11-16, ahead of the new academic term in September.
The extensive compliance services project, that began mid July 2020 will significantly enhance the security and safety of the academy and its estate. The long-term project delivery will continue through 2020/21 Easter period due to Covid-19 restrictions and GRAHAM are looking at out-of-hours delivery options to bring the completion forward if possible.
GRAHAM Regional Manager (FM), Ian Worley, said: "GRAHAM has a proven track record of meeting the bespoke needs of academies, schools, colleges and Universities and we're delighted to support Broadoak Academy with this design and installation scheme.
"Working with our partnered supply chain and design team for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security systems, we are also working in partnership with the academy to ensure its exact requirements were met. Importantly, this work will safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of the pupils and staff."
