Peel L&P has scooped a prestigious accolade for its sustainability achievements.

The firm has been awarded a silver medal putting it in the top 10% of participating global companies specifically for its environmental performance.

The rating from EcoVadis commended Peel L&P's waste management reporting, commitment to reducing energy consumption across its portfolio and work to track progress against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In February this year, 10 of Peel L&P's buildings were reverified by the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) for demonstrating net zero carbon status – a saving of 558 tonnes of carbon in a year, the equivalent volume of 98 full Olympic-sized swimming pools.


EcoVadis, is a global company that measures how well sustainability and corporate responsibility is integrated into businesses and their management systems.

"We have successfully operated the ISO 50001 energy management system for many years and more recently in 2020, created a Net Zero Carbon portfolio of office buildings. The EcoVadis Silver Medal recognises that we are taking action on social and ethical issues as well as environmental matters."
