GAP Hire Solutions has been shortlisted for four awards at this year's Hire Awards of Excellence.
The awards represent the best in the industry for plant, tool and event equipment hire.
GAP has been named a finalist in the Catalogue of the Year, Best Sustainability & CSR Initiative, SafeHire Plant, Tool & Equipment Hire Company of the Year (turnover over £10 million) and Young Apprentice of the Year categories.
Organised by Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA), these prestigious awards highlight and celebrate the fantastic achievements of hire and supply companies within the hire sector across the UK.
On top of rewarding companies as a whole, there are various accolades available for individuals within these businesses who go above and beyond, achieving and even setting some of the highest standards in the industry. Lee Gillett, second year apprentice fitter at GAP’s Plant & Tool depot in Motherwell, is up for the Young Apprentice of the Year award.
Due to current restrictions, the awards ceremony will be held virtually and livestreamed on Thursday 20 May featuring an acceptance speech video from the winner of each category.
Karen Greenshields, Technical & Environmental Services Managing Director at GAP, stated: "As always, GAP is beyond delighted to be acknowledged at the incredibly respected Hire Awards of Excellence. We are excited to be in with the chance of doubling up on our Catalogue of the Year award after winning in this category last year and to be recognized for our sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts for the first time is terrific.
"GAP will be up against the best in the industry in each of the categories we have been shortlisted in, as is the case every year, and we wish every finalist all the best!"
