Triton Construction Scoops £6.2m Contract
Triton Construction has scooped a contract worth over £6million to deliver the second and final phase of development at Mersey Reach in Liverpool.
The deal includes the design and build of 12 new buildings ranging from 4,036 sq ft to 29,719 sq ft. to include internal offices and yard space. Triton will also deliver external works including landscaping, carparking and draining to the units.
Scheme developer, Chancerygate appointed Triton to the contract after a competitive tender process on the back of its extensive credentials in delivering high quality, value engineered industrial developments.
Mersey Reach is situated on a 13.5-acre site on Dunnings Bridge Road and is strategically located on a prominent gateway route into Liverpool SuperPort with fast access to the M57 and M58. The first phase comprising 112,500 across four units was successfully delivered and pre let before being sold to Northwood Urban Logistics.
The Build Team from Triton Construction, along with Chancerygate and Northwood Urban Logistics met on site last week to mark the official start on site for the project which is expected to be completed at the start of 2022.
Chris Quinn, Regional Director at the Warrington office at Triton Construction said: "We are delighted to secure our first contract with Chancerygate as a prolific developer that is proactive in delivering exceptional logistics locations. We hope that this is the start of a successful and long-term relationship between the two companies.
"Our presence in the North West is expanding rapidly and with this project, together with our other successful achievements such as the refurbishment of the iconic Royal Liver Building in Liverpool and the radical new Big Yellow self-storage building in Manchester, we are making great progress in achieving our growth potential."
