Danaher & Walsh Recruits New Apprentices
Danaher & Walsh (D&W) has recruited two new apprentices to work with its Anglian Water delivery team.
Lewis Uysal and Ben-Jaques Ross joined D&W following completion of a two-year full time course at Grimsby College, run in conjunction with Anglian Water.
For the next two years, they will be working at D&W four days a week, spending one day at Grimsby College where they will continue their studies.
Lewis and Ben have teamed up with mentors working on the Water Recycling Network Alliance contract. They are following a structured programme of learning, which will focus on knowledge, practical skills and core behaviours.
As long term partners of Anglian Water, D&W carries out around 3,000 individual jobs per year on the contract. The work comprises planned and emergency works to sewers and wastewater infrastructure.
