VINCI Building has been awarded one of the UK's largest Passivhaus developments at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol).

Student Accommodation Project 3 (SAP3) is a scheme with 900-bedspaces over 26,000m2 of space in a mix of studios including four, six and eight bed clusters.

The 3-block development, designed by Stride Treglown, Curtins, Amber and QODA is due to start at the university’s Frenchay campus in November and will be handed over prior to the 2023/2024 student intake.

Passivhaus buildings provide a high level of occupant comfort while using very little energy for heating and cooling. These standards will help both VINCI and UWE Bristol achieve their sustainability goals outlined in their 2030 strategies.
