With effect from 4 August 2021, Naylor Specialist Plastics Ltd has acquired 100% of the share capital of Schauenburg Technical Solutions Ltd.
Schauenburg is a Gainsborough-based manufacturer and supplier of ventilation duct, pultrusions, GRP pipes, formwork and other technical products. The company has some £4m turnover and 20 employees.
There is some overlap with the existing Naylor range as both businesses manufacture ventilation duct but Schauenburg also introduces some new products to Naylor, most notably the Novoform permanent formwork range and a pultrusion manufacturing capability.
Schauenburg has been renamed Naylor Technical Solutions Ltd with immediate effect; the new business will operate as a "stand alone" subsidiary of Naylor Specialist Plastics Ltd. Activities will continue on the Gainsborough site and Schauenburg’' Chris Simpson will remain with the business as Managing Director, overseeing its integration into the Naylor Group.
Naylor Group Chief Executive Edward Naylor commented: "We're looking forward to working together with Chris and the Schauenburg team to maximise the business potential."
