Creativity and sustainability in design and architecture are becoming of a greater importance nowadays.
Hence, it is important that more and more people are aware of the opportunities that new technologies can provide them. More and more often we hear people talking about a smart home. "Technologies of the future", "autonomy" and "smart devices" sound a little scary for some.
Maybe watching more sci-fi movies makes us afraid of technology instead of making us embrace it, while curious and open to changes in the first place. Ideally, it could make us more adaptable and at the same time more creative. This is why ESCREO have prepared an article in collaboration with My Design to share more on the role of innovation in the pursuit of sustainable development.
You can read the full article at escreo.com/uk/blog/mydesign-functional-paints-creativity-to-smart-home-spaces/ to find out what "smart home" actually means,
how the smart home system works and what is the role of innovation in the pursuit of sustainable development as home automation could also help reduce our carbon footprint and you will learn how that can be done.
As you will also learn, this can be done technologically - by integrating a variety of sensors (for indoor air quality, carbon monoxide and dioxide, proper lighting, temperature, etc.), as well as by integrating more innovative interior solutions - the use of carbon-neutral writable whiteboard paints, also such with magnetic properties or even interior paints that purify the air.
