Crest Nicholson Completes New Show Homes In Kent

Construction News Image
Housebuilder Crest Nicholson has revealed two new 'Dartford' and 'Filey' show homes at Sevington Lakes, the newest phase of its Finberry development in Ashford, Kent.

The four-bedroom homes have been expertly dressed by leading interior designer, Phoenix Interior Design, to reflect family lifestyles and the surrounding natural environment at the new village development.

The homes at Sevington Lakes have been carefully built using traditional materials and offer flexible layouts for modern day lifestyles. Each has been designed with family in mind, featuring contemporary interiors, integrated appliances and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout, allowing homebuyers to settle into their new home straight away.

Sue White, Managing Director of Phoenix Interior Design, commented: "Over the past two years, homes have become even more important to us – they’re our haven. We wanted to create homes that centred around family, coming together, and connectivity. For the colour scheme, we used a subtle background of putty to add warmth and create a cosy ambiance, paired with punchy wine-coloured feature walls and accessories for pops of colour throughout the house.

"In the Dartford, the focus of the ground floor is the open-plan kitchen-dining area, which is the hub of the house featuring a large dining table and snuggly sofas the family can relax on. With many people continuing to work from home, we’ve created a separate office located off the hallway that feels homely and calming thanks to delicate wallpaper that contrasts workers’ hectic lives.

"The Filey is an equally family-friendly home, that features an open plan ground floor with a large kitchen, dining and living area. Thanks to windows front and back, and full height patio doors, the property is flooded with natural light.

"Sustainability is really important to us at Phoenix too, so a variety of products throughout the homes, from the furniture to the wallpapers, have been carefully selected with that in mind. They are fully recyclable, carbon neutral or made of FSC and PEFC certified materials – meaning they meet the highest social and environmental standards. Take the sofa, for example, which comes in fully recyclable packaging and is made up of segments, so each part can be replaced individually if some of it gets damaged."
