Tanking isn’t just for basements - explore the Drybase® Tanking Range for fresh possibilities
Safeguard Europe, pioneers in making buildings dry, has refreshed the popular and effective Drybase® Tanking Range. From an underground structure requiring a full waterproofing specification to general purpose damp-proofing, the Drybase® Tanking Range stands up to the tough demands of professional use while maintaining accessibility for the Do-It-Yourself crowd.
For damaged masonry and concrete, the road to full waterproofing begins with Drybase® Waterproof Plug. Safeguard Europe have developed a malleable and cementitious compound waterproof barrier that sets within 30 seconds. Stop seepage even when the main leak isn’t visible by applying Drybase® Waterproof Plug as a powder across the leaky surface.
Once the water leaks are plugged, it’s time to make that mortar spotless. Drybase® Universal Mortar is a highly durable waterproof repair mortar. Its unique composition is resistant to frost, heat and abrasion. Use it to reprofile, level and repair existing mortar as well as create wall-to-floor junction fillets prior to tanking. For efficiency in large contracting works, Drybase® Universal Mortar is compatible with a render spray machine for quick and consistent application. Create a sound, even and open-pored surface - the perfect base for Drybase® Tanking Slurry.
To complete tanking and waterproofing works, Drybase® Tanking Slurry is a high performance surface waterproofer. Tested for water resistance against up to 7 bar active or passive water pressure, Drybase® Tanking Slurry is a resilient and durable tanking slurry that forms a hard and efflorescence-free coating. It is fully BBA approved to protect against water ingress and resist against sulfates & groundwater. CE compliant.
For concrete substrates at risk of cracking, Drybase® Elasticiser can be added to Drybase® Tanking Slurry to supercharge it with elasticity. Fortify foundations, slabs and retaining walls against cracks with Drybase® Elasticised Tanking Slurry.
For larger water-retaining structures, Drybase® Crystalline Active Slurry is a high performance alternative to Drybase® Tanking Slurry just for concrete surfaces. Its BBA approved active ingredients combine with free lime and moisture to form watertight crystal complexes inside concrete. Drybase® Crystalline Active Slurry is incredibly strong, offering protection against waste, seawater & groundwater. Suitable for larger engineering projects like underground car parks, swimming pools and sewage treatment plants.
When you think tanking solutions, you traditionally think basements. Not any more. Sunken garages, lift pits and storage cellars can all be fully tanked to prevent water damage. Some above-ground structures like wet room bathrooms & sunken gardens can benefit from the strength & security of a tanking treatment. Waterproof your world with the Drybase® Tanking Range, available now online from Safeguard Store.
