A total of 13 specialist firms have been appointed to Fusion21's national Grounds Maintenance Framework worth up to £85 million, over a four-year period.
The firms secured a place on the framework developed for public sector organisations to access - including housing associations, local authorities, NHS trusts, blue light organisations, and education providers.
Peter Francis, Executive Director of Operations at Fusion21 said: "Offering a range of services from grass and hedge cutting, weed control, and arboricultural work to green waste disposal, hard and soft landscaping, and horticultural care, this framework will support improvement and maintenance works for outdoor spaces of any scale across England, Scotland, and Wales.
"In addition to working with a team of technical procurement experts, Fusion21 members accessing this offer will benefit from cost savings and flexible call-off options – including direct award. As with all of Fusion21’s frameworks, the Grounds Maintenance Framework will also support our members to deliver social value to their communities, aligned to their organisational priorities."
Following a competitive tender process, all appointed suppliers hold the following ISO certifications - Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety accreditations ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001; and also have the appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate risks to the public, property, and organisations.
