Mainmark, the global ground engineering specialist, has opened its new Northern Depot in Manchester.
The expansion of the Milton Keynes based business will bolster its countrywide service, aid continued efforts to be more environmentally friendly by reducing CO2 emissions through travel and reducing project lead times and costs for customers.
Mainmark's new location in Manchester caters to an existing and growing demand in the region for its ground engineering services. The business has seen a surge in inquiries in the north of the UK and has established the new depot not only to meet demand, but to help work towards being more environmentally sustainable; with a dedicated location and team closer to ongoing and new projects.
The new facility in Manchester not only helps solidify the companies’ national reach but makes the service more cost effective to customers in the north of the UK. The depot will house some of Mainmark's fleet of custom-built vehicles, enabling delivery of solutions more efficiently in hard-to-reach areas.
Victor Chirilas, Co-Director of Mainmark UK said: "When we first established ourselves in the UK, we continued to build on the success of Mainmark in Australia, New Zealand & Japan by bringing our expertise and technology
to another market that would benefit from it.
"Over the last six years our team has carried out an incredible job completing a large number of demanding and unique projects to the highest standards in both the B2C and B2B sectors, and our expansion into Manchester furthers the quality-of-service that Mainmark provides. This is a great stepping stone in the company's history as we continue to extend our reach, serving the entire UK for all its ground engineering needs."
