Glenny's To Act As Joint Agenct On 'Momentum London'
Glenny's Commercial Agency team has announced it is to act as a joint agent for the planned new logistics and industrial space, 'Momentum London' in Rainham.
HBD and Barings have secured planning permission for the 20-acre brownfield site in East London which will provide direct access to the River Thames, with potential for jetty access and easy connections to Central London and the A13.
The site will see 381,814 sq ft of new logistics and industrial space across four units, ranging from 41,000 to 171,000 sq ft. Momentum London will target net zero carbon, BREEAM 'Excellent' and an EPC 'A+' rating, achieved through zero use of fossil fuels and maximising of photovoltaic solar panels, battery storage and intelligent building systems.
The units will be 100% EV ready and offer passive fleet charging to the yards. The logistics park will be set in a landscaped environment with picnic and public areas with direct access onto the Thames Cycle Path.
Commercial Agency Divisional Partner, Peter Higgins said: "We're looking forward to working on such an exciting project. Momentum London will be an important asset for the East London logistics and industrial market thanks to its convenient location and impressive environmental credentials. It’s a testament to Glenny's knowledge and presence in the region that we will have the opportunity to market this site."
Work will start on site in October 2022 and the units are expected to be available for occupation from late 2023. Glenny will be working as joint letting agents with CBRE and Montagu Evans on the scheme.
