CLM Construction Supplies Ltd Technical Manager, Greg Dent, has been promoted to Technical Director.
The company supply construction equipment to the hire industry and end-users, and are the UK Sole Distributor of IMER and MABER equipment, specialising in cutting, lifting and mixing.
Greg joined the company back in 2007 when it was known as IMER Direct, and has served as Technical Manager for over 15 years. The move is part of a programme to expand the company product range and grow, while at the same time Director Bob Hughes plans to step back from the day to day management of the business. Based in the Mount Pleasant area of Bilston, the company distribute MABER rack and pinion lifts including a wide range of transport hoists and also offer a wide range of scaffold hoists, gantries and gin pulleys.
Director, Chris Hughes said: "Greg has been part of the CLM family for over 15 years, back when we were known as IMER Direct. He has a wealth of knowledge regarding all our equipment and has developed long-standing relationships with suppliers and customers alike. This year, with Bob stepping away from the day to day activities of the business, we feel that the company needs another director - so Greg is going to step up and we will need to recruit someone to support him."
The business was established in 2010 to take over sales of IMER concrete mixing equipment, cutting equipment and scaffold hoists from IMER Direct which has been trading in the UK since the mid 1990s.
As well as Greg's promotion, the company is also a finalist at this year’s Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards, for Family Business of the Year. They will find out if they have been successful at the awards evening on Friday 16th September. CLM has also hired a new Marketing Executive who is currently re-designing the website and sales materials.
They've had a great year this year and managed to come out of the pandemic stronger than ever, so watch this space! Contact the CLM Sales Team on 01902 498915 or email sales@clm-supplies.com to find out more!’
