ULNH To Develop Over 30 Homes In Doncaster
United Living Group has announced that United Living New Homes (ULNH) has scooped a contract by The Guinness Partnership, one of the largest providers of affordable housing in England, to develop 33 affordable homes in Finningley, Doncaster.
The land for the 2.6 acre project is located to the east of Doncaster Sheffield Airport off Church Lane in Finningley. Works will include open space provision and associated landscaping and drainage works. The housing is 100% affordable and comprises 12 two-bed homes and 21 three-bed homes, with a mix of properties for both shared ownership and affordable rent.
The contract is the second with The Guinness Partnership, who in March 2022 awarded ULNH a contract to deliver 311 residential apartments in the centre of Leeds (both shared ownership and affordable rent).
The Finningley project is expected to be completed by November 2023.
Graeme Walton, Senior Contracts Manager, ULNH, commented: "United Living is pleased to be strengthening its position as a leading contractor delivering affordable homes across Yorkshire. This latest development will provide affordable homes to families working in the Doncaster area or commuting to nearby Sheffield or Rotherham. We are also delighted that the development is expected to generate up to 40 new direct full-time construction jobs, helping to boost the local economy."
