Housebuilder The Hill Group has appointed Victoria Anthony as HR Director. The appointment comes at a crucial period of growth for the business as it works towards increasing its turnover to £1.2 billion by 2025.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, Victoria has extensive sector experience gained at Land Securities, and latterly Galliard Homes where she was pivotal in implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies, apprenticeship/graduate schemes, reward, recognition, performance management, and mental health and wellbeing campaigns.
Passionate about improving the performance and capabilities of both people and organisations, Victoria has ample experience in leading teams through business transformation and change management projects. Her efforts have been awarded the Silver Investors in People Accreditation, Best Places to Work in Property Award, Silver Award for the Armed Forces Covenant and the Employee Experience Award – Employees at the Heart, all during the Covid period.
With previous experience in collaborating with the Housebuilding Federation and Women into Construction, both of which are strongly supported by Hill, Victoria will continue to promote Hill's available career opportunities to a more diverse demographic. Reflecting Hill’s core values to embed a culture of belonging, Victoria will introduce a strategy to explore other sectors of the UK workforce, who may not have naturally thought of a career in construction. Working towards lowering any barriers that might deter an applicant from joining, and attracting a more diverse pool of talent to Hill, Victoria’s focus will include the Armed Forces and people with disabilities.
Andy Hill, Group Chief Executive of The Hill Group, said: "We are delighted to welcome Victoria to Hill in an essential position on the executive committee of Directors. Victoria joins us with extensive experience and will help us attract the brightest talent from across the industry. I am sure Victoria will make a significant contribution to our recruitment and retention, supporting the delivery of the company’s long-term strategic objectives.'
