Hampshire County Council has extended its highway services contract with Milestone Infrastructure, a part of M Group Services.

The firm will continue to support the council to 2029.

Committed to providing high levels of service delivery, continuous improvement and innovation, Milestone will be continuing its collaborative partnership with the council, operating as Hampshire Highways.

Since 2017 Milestone has delivered over £350 million of highway services for the benefit of local communities and businesses in the county.


The next six years will see Hampshire Highways continuing to develop a joint approach to reducing carbon with a target of 40% reduction in carbon intensity by 2025 and 60% by 2030.

Simon Watson, Business Director for Milestone Infrastructure in Hampshire, said: "We are delighted to be continuing to deliver the Hampshire Highways service until 2029.

"The collaborative approach we take working as Hampshire Highways has provided resilience to the service through some difficult times and this puts us in a strong position to now reinvest in the service over an extended period to 2029.
