Galliford Try Appointed To £4.5bn 5th Generation SCF Construct Framework
Galliford Try has been reappointed by the Southern Construction Framework (SCF) to the £4.5 billion fifth generation SCF Construct Framework.
The business has been appointed to three regional lots of the four-year framework, covering the South West, South East and London regions, which provide a procurement route for construction services to local authorities and public sector bodies across the south of England.
Galliford Try has been a long-term member of previous iterations of the framework, which is an ethical vehicle for delivery based on greater transparency and governance. For this fifth generation, SCF has selected contractors that can demonstrate exemplary carbon benchmarking assessment for all builds and has prioritised carbon retrofit capabilities as part of its industry leading Carbon and Social Value targets.
Gavin Bridge, Managing Director for Galliford Try Building Southern, commented: "We're delighted to have re-secured our place on SCF Construct. Over the last twelve years, we have delivered 28 projects through the framework, totalling more than £330m, and we look forward to continuing to build on this proud track record."
Bill Hocking, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, added: "The SCF has been a fantastic procurement route for our Building business and represents a key strand of our Sustainable Growth Strategy. We are delighted that we will be working once again with our partners at the SCF as we continue to deliver a proud track record of high-quality public sector buildings across the region."
