SevenHomes Acquires Residential Site In Pershore
SevenHomes has acquired a seven-acre residential site in Pershore, Worcestershire, with plans to introduce around 80 new homes to the area.
Situated on land off Station Road, the proposed development will transform the currently disused Atlas Works site to deliver a mix of purpose built two, three, four and five bedroom family homes to the quaint market town.
Primely positioned on the banks of the River Avon, Pershore is a popular market town renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture and historic abbey. In 2022, the desirable town was voted 22nd in the Best Places to Live in the UK by Garrington, the highest ranked town in the West Midlands, noted for its natural and architectural beauty, as well as quality of life and its green surroundings.
Benefitting from good transport links to Worcester in under 20 minutes, as well as ease of commuting to nearby Oxford and Birmingham in around an hour, the site also enjoys a wide range of local amenities on its doorstep. The town is also ideally situated close to the national motorway network, served via the M5.
A planning application for the proposed development will be submitted to Wychavon District Council in due course.
Abdul Ali, executive director and head of office for SevenHomes, said: "We are delighted to have acquired this development site. It has enormous potential to deliver new, much needed homes which perfectly complement the local vernacular and breathe new life into this vacant factory site.
"As one of the most desirable market towns in the West Midlands, Pershore affords an exceptional quality of living and these new homes will enable a wide range of buyers to get on to or move up the property ladder in this stunning location.
"We look forward to starting work on the planning application over the coming months."
