NG Bailey Wins Wembley National Stadium Contract
NG Bailey has scooped a five-year contract to provide maintenance services for the home of football, Wembley National Stadium.
The contract will see the UK's largest independent services and engineering business providing a full range of planned preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance services, ensuring the famous stadium’s estate operates smoothly and efficiently.
The latest win builds on NG Bailey's significant expertise in the management of complex, high-footfall venues, which includes a number of public-facing facilities, shopping centres and other sports stadia.
NG Bailey will apply its bespoke and flexible approach to intelligent building management in its work with the stadium, using data-driven methods to identify and resolve problems more quickly, improve energy and water usage and enhance the management of building assets.
It comes as Wembley Stadium continues to work towards a net zero carbon goal, with the stadium putting in place a number of sustainability initiatives, including using 100% renewable energy and putting in place low-flow water technologies.
John Cooper, Operations Director at NG Bailey, said: "At NG Bailey we are passionate about bringing together our engineering expertise with technology-driven management and a vastly experienced team to ensure buildings perform to the highest possible standard. With a proven track record in delivering complex maintenance projects in other high footfall settings, we are looking forward to using our expertise to maintain and enhance the facilities of one of the UK’s most iconic sporting and entertainment venues."
