Fire and Acoustic Seals (FAS) has refreshed its branding to create a stronger visual identity within the marketplace.
The new design in vibrant orange and black is being rolled out across the business including its own-label product packaging and communications. This investment is a further testament to the business and its commitment to developing specifically tested fire door products for the market.
The team at FAS recognised the need to create a range of fire door sealants several years ago that would replace general fire foams and sealants and guarantee performance in the event of a fire.
The first product launched was its Fire Door Foam™ which is now its most popular own-label product, used by major housebuilders and contractors across the UK. Complementary products have since followed with the success of the *Intumescent Acrylic Sealant and the recently launched FAS Fire Door Silicone Sealant.
Product development had been organic in the past with packaging considered secondary. This restricted how the products positioned themselves against other fire sealants, and how any new products could be introduced to sit together as a family, either online or on builder’s merchants’ shelves.
The new design clearly conveys the fire door credentials of each product to distinguish them from other fire-rated sealants to help fire door installers make the right choice. The shortened FAS branding and uniform style have been introduced to make the range easily recognisable, and colours used as a device to make the individual FAS products stand out.
The cartridges have also changed to fully recyclable almost black cartridges which will give further prominence from other general white cartridges.
Julian Vollans, Managing Director at Fire and Acoustic Seals commented: "I'm really excited about this next stage of Fire and Acoustic Seals' journey.
The new brand design is much bolder and stronger which will help to give the business stand out in the marketplace, both on and offline.
The biggest change has been in overhauling our own-label product branding. This was driven by the introduction of a new sealant for external fire doors, our Fire Door Silicone Sealant, and follows the success of our Fire Door Foam™ and Intumescent Acrylic Sealant.
The ‘FAS’ branded range will help to clearly differentiate the products from competitor offerings whilst clearly communicating the fire door credentials of the products themselves. The new design will also allow us to launch other products that will be easily recognisable as part of a family of FAS products and help the brand to become synonymous with fire door safety.”
The FAS fire door range of products has been specially designed and tested using standard timber or plastic packers to achieve fire ratings of 30 to 120 minutes when applied correctly around fire doors. Visit the website for installation and technical details.
Fire and Acoustic Seals have an extensive range of fire, smoke and acoustic seals and sealants in stock on next-day delivery service.
