Cottsway Housing has exchanged contracts with Persimmon to provide 34 new homes in Swindon.
The new development will be named Stanton Chase and will include a mix of one, two, three and four bed properties. As well as two wheelchair adaptable homes.
The 34 homes are part of a larger development which includes 190 properties as well as a convenience store.
The Stanton Chase suite property is based 4 miles north-west of Swindon's town centre. It lies near Stanton Country Park and has access to the mainline railway station, the A420 to Oxford and the A419, which connects with Junction 15 of the M4.
Cottsway Housing will partner with Persimmon to deliver the project. Commenting on the plan, Colin Bloodworth, Cottsway's Director of Development and Partnerships, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with Persimmon again, this time to provide much-needed affordable new homes in Swindon.
"These properties will help those in housing need and we’re proud to be adding to our accessible housing stock by building two homes that can be adapted for wheelchair users."
Commenting on the partnership, Persimmon Homes Wessex Managing Director, Julian Roper, said: "Following on from our recent partnership in Witney, Persimmon is delighted to have secured agreement with Cottsway for our social housing provision at our new Stanton Chase development in Swindon.
"We are pleased this site will deliver a range of homes designed for families and local people who otherwise might struggle to get onto the housing ladder in Swindon.
"Over the course of construction, we will transfer 34 new, quality homes to Cottsway for the purposes of housing local people, with 24 properties available for affordable rent and the remaining 10 for shared ownership.
"We have a proud record of delivery in Swindon and Persimmon is determined to leave another positive legacy at our Stanton Chase development with the provision of new homes, jobs, and substantial community investment."
