Roof Integrated Solar, Why Do It Any Other Way?
Laker are MCS registered with accredited installers offering a range of Solar Photovoltaic Systems.
If you're building one or more new homes to be sold after 15th June 2023 you need to understand the changes to Part L legislation. The Future Homes Standard has been introduced to the building industry in two stages.
While the full set of standards will come into effect in 2025, the new Part L uplift element comes into effect from June 2023, obligating all new houses and therefore builders and developers to deliver a 31% improvement on current sustainability and energy efficiency standards over 2013’s building regulations. The obligated 31% saving must be made on each new property from June 15th 2023 and is easily achievable by adding 8 x solar panels plus an inverter ideally with a car charger to your new developments. Solar PV is the most cost efficent way to meet the new legislative requirement, if your are installing gas boilers to your property.
What's more Laker has you covered
With either a supply only service for our installers, or a turnkey supply and fit, we offer ‘in-roof’ solar solution for Laker builders and property developers, also ‘on roof solutions’ for home owners and commercial roofs. At Laker we will even design the perfect solar in-roof system for your developments or new homes, quoting the perfect turnkey solutions for your house or complete development.
The 31% Part L target has to be achieved on a plot by plot basis, yet we can supply solutions for communal batteries, much more cost-effectively than on a per-property battery solution basis.
