When an employee is exposed to the risk of working at height an appropriate fall arrest system is required.
Working at height as defined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is considered any work in any place where, if precautions are not taken, a person could fall a distance liable to cause injury.
This is often defined by any works undertaken above ground/floor level as working at height is defined by falling from one level to a lower level. Such situations are incredibly common in the construction industry and the safe guards you as an employer put into position are paramount to provide a duty of care and safety to your employees where the above definitions apply.
Fall-Pac has been protecting workers from heights since 2004. Our friendly, dedicated team has over 20 years of experience. Health and safety is something every employer has a duty to take seriously, with harsh penalties for those who fail to protect their staff.
Working at heights is widely recognised as one of the most risky types of environment and the leading cause of occupational accidents, injuries and even deaths.
