Roofing solutions firm, PermaRoof has celebrated with Elevate after being the first supplier in the UK to receive its 1,000th delivery of goods.
Elevate - formerly known as Firestone – is one of the most recognised brands of EPDM rubber products with a history spanning four decades. PermaRoof has been a stockist since 2002 when EPDM was relatively new in the residential market and over the last 20 years has become the largest distributor in the UK.
Adrian Buttress, managing director at PermaGroup, said: "We have distributed Elevate EPDM systems to just about every postcode in the UK, helping to waterproof the length and breadth of the country in both residential and commercial buildings.
"Having such a longstanding client relationship is testament to the success of both our businesses, and the promise we made to Elevate to help grow its market share. Following the Holcim takeover and rebrand to Elevate, it’s great to see the firm progress forward and innovate with new product lines.
"PermaRoof is committed to pushing these systems into the marketplace and building this longstanding partnership. It has worked fantastically well for more than two decades, and we intend to keep it going.'
Teams across PermaRoof and PermaRoof commercial work with Elevate’s RubberCover, RubberGard and RubberGutter EPDM solutions on a regular basis, as well as supplying its adhesives and insulation products. PermaRoof also offers industry-leading training programmes on the products to contractors on correct installation to guarantee the warranties for their customers.
"Service is really important to us as a business, but having reliable products is also essential," Adrian added.
"We estimate around 75% of our business is from repeat orders. We pride ourselves on supplying the best products on the market, offering roof surveys, installation and maintenance advice to ensure the longevity of the projects we complete. Working with Elevate ensures we can do our job to the highest standard and I look forward to continuing to work with the brand in future."
Philip Moors, UK and Ireland Managing Director at Elevate, said: "PermaRoof has been a crucial partner in the development of the residential EPDM market with our RubberCover solution from Elevate. It has become the standard in single-ply solutions for the UK residential market thanks to the PermaRoof team’s efforts. The commitment of PermaRoof to develop our new solutions has made them a success in the UK market known for their quality and service."
