Galliford Try Announces New MD Of Environment Division
Galliford Try has announced the promotion of Mark Shadrick to the role of Managing Director of its Environment division.
Mark joined Galliford Try with the acquisition of nmcn in 2021 and, since that time, has played a pivotal role in growing its Environment business through his role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He has more than 34 years of experience in the sector, and will be taking forward the division’s Source to Sea strategy, moving into the AMP8 phase.
Commenting on the appointment, Bill Hocking, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: "Galliford Try is one of the largest players in the water sector, uniquely positioned to tackle the water sector’s challenges of ageing infrastructure, climate change resilience, funding pressure and a stringent regulatory environment.

Wayne Hickling succeeds Mark in the role of Managing Director for Galliford Try Environment’s Midlands & West Asset Creation business. In a further promotion from within, Kay Denham takes over from Wayne as Engineering Director as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
