One of the most prominent South West construction awards is returning to Bristol Aerospace this summer.
Organised by Constructing Excellence South West (CESW), an organisation led by members from various sectors and supply chains, the prestigious awards celebrate exemplary practices and recognise the success of the construction industry in the region.
Project teams and organisations who have delivered buildings and civil engineering projects in the South West are encouraged to enter, for free, to demonstrate how they have contributed to the built environment within the last 12 months.
While the awards are returning for another year, some improvements have been made to the application process, in the form of a brand-new online submissions portal, to make it much simpler for candidates to apply.
Additional changes include a revised set of categories to align with the new National Constructing Excellence awards in order to better reflect today’s industry. From recognising projects of different sizes to rewarding programmes centred around innovation, people and culture, regeneration and retrofit, delivering value and much more, the awards showcase incredible talent across the region.
Kingsley Clarke, Operations Lead from SCF and organiser of the 2024 CESW awards, said: "At CESW we’re passionate about celebrating everyone who has positively contributed to the South West construction industry and so we welcome entries from any team or organisation - you don’t have to be a CE member.
"Every year we receive an incredible number of applications and so our judging panel work tirelessly to shortlist each category to just three frontrunners. Being a part of the CESW awards is a fantastic accolade whether you’re crowned the winner or make it as a finalist.
"We're really looking forward to returning to Bristol Aerospace this July for the award ceremony which is set to be an evening to remember. With just a few months to go until the awards deadline, be sure to get your application submitted so you can be in with a chance of taking home one of our prestigious trophies."
Entries for this year's awards close on Wednesday 3 April and with 18 categories available there's a wide range of opportunities to apply for. Be sure to get the recognition you deserve for your project and enter today. T
