Vistry Group Wins Contract With Sigma Capital
Vistry Group has scooped a contract with Sigma Capital to deliver 78 single-family build-to-rent (BTR) homes in Bradford.
The site at Dean Beck forms part of Vistry's and Sigma's new framework agreement, announced in February, which will see the partners deliver 5,000 BTR homes for Sigma’s Simple Life Homes BTR brand. Construction work is set to start next month, with the homes completed by the end of 2025.
Andrew Poyner, managing director of Vistry West Yorkshire, said: "We are keen to play our role combatting the acute housing crisis, working with long-term partners like Sigma to deliver a full breadth of housing choices. These new, single-family homes for rent will help meet the significant demand for this housing tenure in Bradford, whilst also supporting Vistry's wider strategy of working with partners to deliver homes across all tenures."
Kenny Brewster, acquisition and investment director from Sigma said: "We're delighted to partner with Vistry on another fantastic site. We're excited to be in a position to deliver more much-needed homes to the Bradford area, where we anticipate demand will be very high amongst local renters. Simple Life will be acquiring a mixture of two, three and four bedroom family homes where residents can expect an award winning professional approach to renting, alongside our high-quality specification."
