Finning UK & Ireland, the world's largest dealer of Cat® machines, parts and services, recently welcomed its regional network of Authorised Sales and Service Centres (ASSC) to Caterpillar's Desford site for a three-day event as the scheme celebrated its second year.
Partners in attendance included Cooks Midlands, Bennie Pant, LCF Engineering, Norris Plant, Howard Plant, Oakley Machinery, Frank Sutton and RC Dalgliesh.
In addition, the latest dealer to join the network, Rundle & Co Agri, was in attendance. Rundle & Co Agri, based in Launceston, will support customers in South West England with any Cat compact machine requirements.
Wayne Rundle from Rundle & Co Agri, the newest addition to the ASSC network said: “Since becoming an ASSC dealer, we have been impressed with the support from Finning especially as we recently held our open day on site.
"We sell a diverse range of agricultural equipment in our rural area and we are happy to now be able to offer our customers a wider range of machines and to get these top-quality Cat machines back into the region.
"This event gave us the opportunity to delve into all of the expertise on offer and share thoughts and experiences with the other dealers - I can't wait to see what the future holds with this partnership."
This continued expansion of the network follows an increase in demand for Cat compact machines across all sectors, with each of the established dealers being strategically located to serve customers across the UK.
Nadine Craddock, ASSC Dealer Manager at Finning UK & Ireland, said: "The feedback we’ve had from customers is that being able to deal with someone who is experienced and on their doorstep is something they really value, together with the fast turnaround on machines, which the ASSCs are able to provide."
The three-day conference, titled 'Winning Together in 2024', saw the regional dealers take part in a series of activities, product support sessions and focus groups to understand what is working well and look at where Finning could offer additional support.
Finning team members also joined the event to present various sessions with a focus on aftermarket, including, machine connectivity, oil sampling, warranty and operation planning.
Nadine continued: "As we celebrated the two-year anniversary of the dealer network, it was important to catch up with the dealers and give them an opportunity to share their thoughts on what is working well and where Finning can provide further support.
"I was really pleased with how the event went and the level of engagement from the dealers. We look forward to continuing to work together to grow and serve our customer base as well as possible."
