Our cob blocks are traditional structural building blocks made from a mixture of subsoil, aggregates and straw.
They are ideal to either restore traditional cob walls in need of repair or to build the perfect eco-building from new.
Our cob is available in mass form as well as dried block form.
We make our cob blocks from a North Devon vernacular mixture of sub soils, mixes, aggregates and straw and are ideally suited to the wetter climes of the Westcountry.
They are can be used for building and restoration work on traditional cob and earth buildings. Cob provides a great insulation for buildings and is eco friendly with a zero carbon footprint.
Cob has been used in building the world over for many centuries and provided it has a good hats (roof) and a good set of boots (stone plinth) should last for many years.
Please note, there is a lead time on orders for cob blocks.
