Laing O'Rourke Appoints Director Of People
Laing O'Rourke has appointed Amy Tullis as Director of People for its Europe Hub, further strengthening commitment to deliver certainty to its clients through the power of experience.
Amy, who is a member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD), brings more than 20 years’ experience in HR to the role, and has most recently worked as HR Director for the UK & Ireland at Ferrovial Construction.
She has extensive knowledge of the construction sector, having previously worked for Wates Group and Balfour Beatty, and has also spent time with companies in the oil and gas and energy sectors in the UK and the Middle East.
Welcoming Amy to the business, Cathal O'Rourke, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Amy's construction sector experience, which includes working alongside other constructors in joint ventures and alliances, means she is well placed to understand the challenges and the opportunities that exist for us to attract and retain a more diverse pool of people and to provide them with unique and rewarding careers.
