Gleeds has been reappointed to oversee multiple lots within the NHS Building for Wales 2 National Frameworks, marking the fifth time the firm has secured this role since 2007.
Named an accredited supplier by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, Gleeds is set to provide project and cost management services for the next four years, with an option to extend the agreement by an additional two years. The frameworks encompass an estimated construction value of £615 million and will involve Gleeds managing Lot 1, which includes projects valued above £20 million, and Lot 2, covering projects between £7-20 million.
With a proven history of efficient delivery in healthcare construction, Gleeds is now eligible to bid on a variety of projects under the frameworks. These initiatives are designed to uphold best-practice procurement models, foster long-term strategic partnerships, and align with the Welsh Government's Healthier Wales programme.
In addition to advancing procurement excellence, the frameworks aim to enhance value for money for NHS Wales by promoting team-building, skills development, and collaboration with integrated supply chains. They will also position the NHS in Wales as a leading example of effective construction procurement for major projects.
