Galliford Try's Building London and South East Commercial business has been appointed to deliver two major commercial contracts in London, with a combined value of £86 million.
The first project involves the £53m redevelopment of 30-33 Sloane Street for Cadogan. The project will retain the historic façade while constructing a six-storey building featuring luxury retail units, grade A office space, and a rooftop restaurant with stunning views across London. This development complements Cadogan’s £46m transformation of the Sloane Street public realm, positioning it as one of the world’s leading luxury destinations.
In addition, the business has secured a £34m contract with Big Yellow Self Storage to deliver a new 133,000 sqft facility in Wapping, East London. The part five- and part eight-storey building, with a lower ground floor fronting The Highway, will feature a self-storage facility alongside flexible office and workspace accommodation, completed to Cat B standard. The project includes piled foundations, a reinforced concrete and structural steel superstructure, brickwork and glazed façades, and a composite deck roof.
Targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating, the development reflects Galliford Try's commitment to sustainability. The site also holds historical significance, and archaeological mitigation works will be undertaken as part of the construction process.
