Sama Investment Group has submitted plans for new 31 residential apartments and three spacious commercial units as part of a mixed-use regeneration scheme known as Highgate Corner on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.

Located to the north of the iconic Balti Triangle, the proposals would see the transformation of a vacant brownfield site to deliver a new residential community on the corner of Highgate Road, Ladypool Road, and Stratford Road.

The scheme, which includes rooftop gardens for the residents, has been designed by ADG Architects.


Alongside much-needed new homes, the project, known as the Ladypool Road development, could provide opportunities for independent shops, cafes, or restaurant as part of a vibrant and active street level. It would also act as a catalyst for wider regeneration in the local area, with enhancements to Highgate Road forming part of the scheme.
