Caddick has reached a major milestone in the construction of Ark 42, a 42,594 sq ft speculative industrial and logistics development at Trafford Park Road, with the steel frame structure now complete.
Commissioned by Trebor Developments on behalf of The Prudential Assurance Company and M&G Real Estate, the BREEAM Excellent two-storey facility is scheduled for completion in spring 2025.
With the frame in place, Caddick will now move on to roofing and cladding, creating a 34,670 sq. ft warehouse featuring 10m eaves, alongside 7,923 sq. ft of Cat A office space across two floors. The project will also include parking facilities equipped with EV charging stations.
Ark 42 adds to Caddick's growing portfolio in Trafford, which includes high-profile developments such as the £45m, 199-home Lumina Village on the former Kellogg’s site in Trafford Park and the ongoing transformation of Stretford Mall, in partnership with Bruntwood and Trafford Council.
Dave Saville, Regional Managing Director of Caddick Construction North West, commented: "As our pipeline of projects in the Trafford area continues to develop, taking a step back to celebrate this milestone at Trafford Park gives us the opportunity to reflect on the brilliant work taking place in Manchester. It's thanks to our dedicated team and high-quality supply chain that we are able to deliver Ark 42 to programme for our valued client, Trebor Developments, and we look forward to seeing this build come to life in the New Year."
