Taunton's main library on Paul Street will be closed for two days next month as Somerset Council undertakes essential upgrades to its IT infrastructure.
The library, along with The Glass Box innovation space, will be closed on Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10, to facilitate a major overhaul of its IT network and Wi-Fi systems. The improvements aim to enhance security and provide a more reliable and efficient digital experience for customers in the future.
The library is set to reopen at 9.30 am on Friday, April 11, welcoming visitors back with upgraded technology and improved connectivity.
