Wiltshire Council has issued an order for the temporary closure of Roundstone Street to all traffic, from its junction with the Hilperton Road roundabout to its junction with Yerbury Street.
The next phase of the works is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 26, and will continue until Monday, May 5. The duration of the project is subject to weather conditions, which may impact completion time.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, though some delays are expected due to the nature of the work.
The following alternative route has been provided: C372 (unaffected length) – C361 – B3106 – A363 – A361.
The closure is necessary to allow Wiltshire Council to carry out public realm improvements and associated works, aimed at alleviating congestion and enhancing the local infrastructure.
