Prior to that he was at ISG, where he was part of the firm's Hyperscale business unit, and focused on major programmes in the automotive, aerospace, datacentre, pharmaceutical, battery technology and logistics industries.

Gary's appointment marks an amalgamation of several key sectors under a single leadership structure, with a view to driving sharper focus and more effective delivery through collaboration and sharing of ideas and resources.
Mace's growth in the healthcare sector started on a high in 2025, with the firm being appointed as delivery partner for the New Hospital Programme in the UK. This major programme will serve as a springboard for further growth across the continent. Meanwhile, Gary will seek to build on Mace’s strong presence and relationships in the UK, Germany and Switzerland to develop the company’s life sciences offering, as well as working alongside colleagues in North America, who are collaborating with some of the world’s biggest names in pharmaceuticals. Commenting on his vision for success, Gary Sweeney, Director for Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Technology, Mace Consult, said: "Mace's commitment to engaging clients early and working in partnership to help them shape their visions was a big reason behind my move. It’s a powerful proposition and one that resonates with me, having spent decades focusing on products and process housed within the infrastructure Mace delivers. By connecting these dots, we're helping clients to think differently and unlock the outcomes that enable long term success.
"I'm excited to build on the strong platform the team has already laid to deliver for our clients and bring value to society."
