Halladale Muir Launch New 70-acre Business Park 'Aberdeen Gateway'
Knight Frank has been instructed as sole marketing agent for Halladale Muir’s impressive new 70-acre Aberdeen Gateway business park, Aberdeen South, which will provide over 45 acres of new business space.
The new high quality business park is located at Moss-side, Cove, just off the A90, in close proximity to the southern junction of the proposed Western Peripheral Route (WPR).
With a range of flexible space, including up to 250,000 sq ft of Grade A offices, Aberdeen Gateway offers occupiers a quality location, with easy access to all main distributor routes, just three miles south of Aberdeen city centre.
Businesses will have the opportunity to play an active role in the design of their premises at Aberdeen Gateway with choice and flexibility of space to construct bespoke offices, industrial units or, acquire premises built from a range of standard units.
Already, Halladale Muir, a joint venture between J W Muir Group and Halladale Group plc, has lodged a speculative planning application to build a headquarters facility in the prominent 12-acre elevated site at the Park entrance. Plans provide a high quality office HQ, totalling 153,000 sq ft with restaurant, gym and 600 car parking spaces.
There will also be 20 acres of woodland and an ecological reserve at the new business park, to blend in with the environment at Moss-side.
Katherine Monro, Partner at Knight Frank’s office in Aberdeen, said: “Aberdeen Gateway is an excellent development with a flexible range of opportunities to suit a variety of businesses. With increasing pressure for quality office and industrial space in Aberdeen, we have experienced unprecedented interest in advance of commencing our formal marketing campaign for this business park. Unlike some schemes currently in the pipeline, deliverability is not an issue for Aberdeen Gateway, as outline planning permission was granted last year site servicing 2007 and occupation from Summer 2008.
The Park’s close proximity to the city centre and harbour, together with main arterial routes, in particular the southern junction of the proposed WPR, has attracted a wide range of business interest. We are already in advanced discussions with a number of parties in relation to a significant area of the Park.”
