Industry Looks Forward To Grand Designs Live
After its huge success last year, Grand Designs Live NEC will make a welcome return on 5-7 October 2007.
The 2007 show promises to be bigger and better with new show-stopping features, more celebrities and countless experts on hand, guiding visitors through every step of the design and build process. Grand Designs Live NEC is the only contemporary design exhibition offering visitors the chance to buy, build and furnish a house all under one roof - from the first brick to the final bed throw.
Based on the popular talkbackTHAMES series for Channel 4, presented by design expert Kevin McCloud, this year's Grand Designs Live NEC will play host to over 400 carefully selected exhibitors from the Interiors, Garden, Build, Kitchen and Bathroom sectors with an exclusive design shopping arcade.
Kevin McCloud commented: "Grand Designs Live NEC isn't just another home exhibition, like the programme it is definitive, authoritative, creative and original".
Grand Designs Live NEC has proved to be a hugely successful event in 2006 attracting over 42,000 visitors, and has won a host of industry awards including, 'Consumer Show of the Year' and 'Best Consumer Exhibition' 2006.
Grand Designs Live NEC offers visitors six shows for the price of one in an easy to navigate format. Each section boasts a dedicated 'Ask the Expert' area where visitors can gather advice that will guide them through the journey of design, self build, interior and exterior home decoration.
What's more, this year the GRANDBuild hall will expand to include even more specialist build and development companies. In addition, TV presenter Sarah Beeny, will head up the Property Ladder seminar programme.
