Hanson Formpave Sponsors Geotechnical Trail At Civils 2007
Hanson Formpave, a leading manufacturer of standard and specialist concrete block pavers and permeable paving solutions, is the exclusive sponsor of the Geotechnical trail at Civils 2007.
The Geotechnical trail provides a fast-track route around the show for anyone wanting to meet specialists in geotechnics and ground engineering. Hanson Formpave Research Manager, Dr Stephen Coupe, a world renowned expert in the field of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) and pollution control, will also be at the show presenting on SUDS and the BRE Hanson Eco-House.
In light of recent flooding, interest in Hanson Formpave’s Aquaflow and SUDS system has never been greater and this product as well as the Chartres and EcoGranite ranges will be showcased at the event.
Dr Coupe, Hanson Formpave’s SUDS consultant and permeable paving specialist will be presenting on the geothermal and recycling technologies implemented at the Hanson Eco-House at BRE.
Commenting on Hanson Formpave’s activities at the show this year, Steve Spikes, Development Director, said: "Sponsoring the Geotechnical trail at Civils presented a perfect opportunity for us to promote the geotechnical and ground engineering aspect of our paving systems. With our involvement in the conference and our latest product ranges also being exhibited, it demonstrates how Hanson Formpave is at the forefront of new technology, research and design in this field."
