High Visibility Safety And Winter Weather Protection

The UK’s leading workwear manufacturer Dickies has an extensive range of high visibility garments that include a number of jackets, ideal for winter.

The Motorway Safety Jacket, High Visibility Bomber Jacket and the versatile 5-in-1 High Visibility Executive Jacket offer excellent protection from both on-site hazards and the inclement winter weather.

All three jackets are manufactured from polyurethane coated polyester and conform to EN471 Class 3, the current regulation for the level of high visibility protection required for those working on or at roadside on the Primary Route Network (PRN) and all other roads with a speed limit of 40mph and above.

The High Visibility 5-in-1 Executive Jacket allows for five different wearer options. The zipped-in Polyester lining can be removed and worn separately as bodywarmer. The sleeves can also be removed to create a sleeveless high visibility bodywarmer. Additionally the bodywarmer can be reversed and worn as a non-safety garment. With the lining removed the outer jacket becomes a lightweight high visibility garment for when the weather is warmer. With the lining in place the wearer has an excellent winter jacket providing maximum high visibility protection.

The traditional Motorway Safety Jacket remains one of the Dickies most popular high visibility lines. Construction features include a quilted nylon lining, and stitched and tape welded seams; a manufacturing process employed to prevent water penetrating the jacket through the stitching of the seams.

Dickies’ High Visibility Bomber Jacket is also available in both Saturn yellow and high visibility orange. There are two 5cm reflective strips around the body, two around each arm and one over each shoulder. This jacket is fitted with a lining made from quilted nylon with a polyester filling, and has an abundance of pockets including an external pocket for the indispensable mobile phone.
