Ruberoid Building Product's waterproofing system Hyload has successfully completed one of its largest jobs to date. York College is the biggest university of its kind in the country and over £60 million has been invested in this recently completed project. The impressive four storey building spans over 30,000m2 and the campus also includes large playing fields, car park and separate nursery.
Hyload Original was the product of choice due to the size of the building and its ability to perform extremely well under the compressive loads found in a large modern development such as York College. Hyload DPC Jointing Tape and Hyload DPC Fixing Strip were amongst the other products to be specified for this job, ensuring a high quality finish to the building.
Paul Donnelly, Managing Director at Marlborough Brickwork Limited comments: "Our main concern when specifying structural waterproofing is the longevity and performance that it offers our clients. The reputation and heritage of Hyload DPCs make these products an obvious choice on all projects. The Hyload range has always performed very well and is the reason why we specify Hyload products whenever we can."
BBA Certification provides specifiers with the knowledge and assurance that all Hyload products are high performing and long lasting. Both tough and durable, Hyload Original provides excellent flexibility at low temperatures and is renowned for its reliability, boasting over 40 years with no reported material failures.
Ruberoid also provides a Technical Support Team which is staffed by expert technicians who can provide support and advice on any aspect of design or installation. To find out more call 0800 587 7391.
